To step forward with compassion and charity while serving through medical care, health awareness, educational and spiritual development and recreational activities to strengthen the entire person.
VALUES
We are Christians who believe in Jesus Christ as the Lord and Savior of the world and depend on Him in all we do. We are concerned about the physical and the spiritual needs of the people we serve. We serve everyone in need, regardless of race, creed or gender.
INTEGRITY
We are honest in our communications, transparent and accountable in our finances and trustworthy in our relationships. We have no paid staff and no administrative overhead.
COMPASSION
We care deeply about the dignity of people who suffer in our world and are motivated by God’s love to bring love, hope and peace to people in need. Our goal is to use medicine as a means to heal the physical body while promoting the healing of the spirit through His love and compassion.
TEAMWORK
We promote teamwork in our relationships with those we serve with; in our collaboration with other groups who share a common mission; in our partnerships with donors and volunteers.
VOLUNTEERISM
We enable all people to contribute their gifts, time and energy in ways that truly make a difference. We encourage doctors, nurses, dentists, paramedics, and other medically trained personnel to share their talents with the underprivileged. We invite all people to share in the spread of God’s love. Volunteers need not be medically trained and we encourage participation by everyone who shares our values.
